Hi my name is Diana Raward and I am the daughter of Diane Russell (the brains behind 2smock).
My role with 12GO and 2smock:
I act as the main point of contact between 12GO 2smock and our customers. Nine times out of ten when you call or e-mail us you will be speaking to me. I handle the processing of orders, and the daily running of the business.
As the business grows, we will hopefully be welcoming new additions to our staff. However, I aim to maintain contact with our customers and to be actively involved in the business at all times.
Due to my background in computer programming I also maintain and develop our websites. We are constantly coming up with new ways to improve our websites, and to provide you with additional benefits and services (though some times the time to implement these ideas takes a little longer than expected).
My background:
With most of my family involved with either the Internet or computing I was able to learn and the basics very early. I started developing my own websites at the age of 16 while still in high school.
After completing high school I attended the University of Sydney, where I continued to study computer programming and psychology. I supported myself through university by picking up the odd job in accounting, data entry, website development etc.
Between leaving university and starting 12GO/2smock with my mother (Diane) I picked up the obligatory receptionist/PA jobs, which I intended to use as a launching point in my career.
Why 12GO/2smock?
It didn't take very long to me to be able to realise that the traditional "career" wasn't going to suit what mattered to me most. I am at heart a family woman, and knew that this would always be an exceedingly important priority. But I, like most women, also enjoy the challenge of work, and the ability to extend myself and grow as an individual. So after many discussions, debates and brainstorming sessions, we decided to pursue my mothers dream of creating 2smock kits and bringing them to the world.
The opportunity to create a work environment that is supportive and understanding of my family priorities and to work with a product that I genuinely believe in was an opportunity to great to pass.
